Merry Christmas and Happy New Year Kathy!
Lot's of fun was had this Christmas and we are looking forward to the New Year. Ruhe has not stopped growing. We are going into the vet next month to see how much she weighs and for her to be spayed. We expect her to come in between 65-70lbs! She is fantastic with other dogs and starting to come out of her shell consistently when we take her out and about with People!
Here are a few pictures over the last couple of weeks!
We have a baby girl due in February, can't wait to see all of them with the new born. We are especially excited for Ruhe to have a real "job" of watching out for her. They will be best of friends for years to come. We will be sure to send cute photo's we collect!

Good afternoon Kathy,
Well Chester is doing awesome, approaching 5 months and already stands at my knee. He did great in his puppy training class, now we are preparing for the intermediate level. He loves to play with Axel his fur brother, and boy do they play rough. He’s still getting the hang of his feet, he just flops those lion paws around and every time he wants to cuddle I get slapped in the face. Lol. We are still getting him used to bath time, I think he prefers the shower vs the tub, but he does well when I do his grooming sessions. That’s our bonding time. Here’s a pic of him after I walked both of them going to get my son from the bus stop. He flopped down by the fridge and looked at me. I busted out laughing.

Good Morning Kathy and Family,
Chester just got his last set of shots, he weighed in at 44 pounds. Now he can go to the dog park and play with his new friends. Puppy training class is going great. He’s so smart, every day he does something that keeps me laughing. He likes to stick his tongue out at me and every once in a while he’ll wink. Oh and he finally found his voice, it’s a deep bark. His coat is coming in nicely, I think he’s going to be the perfect mix of his beautiful mom and dad. His appetite is very good, he looks so funny with one ear up and the other floppy. He’s a character though always wanting to play. I’ve been working on a scrap book of his growth since I love taking pictures.

I just wanted to let you know that Chester is doing great. He has gained almost 20 lbs. He’s moved up from the crate to a mini mansion (my bathroom). He’s doing great with very little accidents in the house. He is mastering his commands, walks well on the leash and has learned to wait patiently at the door after his walks. This is us working on his “Sit” command.

Ruhe is doing great! She has her third vet appointment coming up this weekend and the Vet continues to make comments about how large and healthy of a puppy she is! We are excited to see what she weighs.
Ruhe is an AWESOME pup. Growing like a weed, super playful (but not a huge handful). We have taken her to a few different events to get her socialized. In all of them she is calm and watchful. If she is ever unsure of something all it takes is a little positive encouragement from us and she is over it.
Couple of the more notable events. She met her first ~1.5 yr old, did great with her. Took treats from the little one and was very nice and gentle, all with out Sarah or I having to tell her to do so. We took her to a large community firework show, she was not phased at all by the loud booms and bangs or the commotion of a few hundred people around her.

Earlier in the day. That is Zoey's ball (one of her dog sisters) she loves to take it from her. We also gave her a little bandanna to keep her in the spirit of the 4th!

Layla is awesome. She sleeps all night in her crate. I wake up at 1 am and 4 am she doesn't want to go out for potty. No accidents in the house ever. She goes to the trainer for classes all this week and is a quick learner and is so pooped when she gets home Lol. She is absolutely a dream pup! So sweet and just wonderful !!! Very calm for a pup and my older dog helps with her training and treats her like her child. Loves her walks and really doesn't need the crate but she likes it. I just love her! Also, she is perfect in the car. She just lies down in the back seat like a pro. No whining or moving. Just love her so much !!!

Hope you are doing great! Sorry for not getting this to you right after the appointment. Attached are a couple of Pictures as well!
Ruhe (pronounced Roo) is an absolute riot! Very good girl so far, minor crying in crates/away from us. Getting along great with the other dogs. Loves to play Tug! She will even play 2 against 1 with them. She is learning her manners still, sitting in front of us for food/treats and is getting good with "come". She is fantastic at following us off leash (this may change in a few months when she grows more bold!). Potty training has been a breeze with her. We think she is starting to understand the word and all for it!
Sarah and I are extremely happy with her and all the hard work you put into her. It shows!
We will send you some more pictures as the weeks go on! Next vet appointment is at the end of the month.

Today was a good day Chester had his vet appointment and got a clean bill of health. His fecal test came back negative for any worms. The vet stated that he's a big boy and looks very good for 8 weeks.

Hi Kathy, hope all is well. I've been slacking in keeping you updated on Udo, Orange collar male born last December. He hit his 6 months running. He is so sweet and very playful. He is also stubborn as all get out. Training has gone slowly due to it taking a long time to get him to stop grabbing and chewing on the leash. We have sit down pretty good. Down is coming along but come and stay are proving troublesome. He is stunningly handsome I just smile every time I look at him. He has been completely housebroken for months now.
He is my shadow as I can do nothing without him by my side I could not have asked for anything more.
We have been spreading the word about the quality dogs you have Kathy. Pretty sure my sister-in-law will be in for one in the next couple of years, maybe sooner. I have only been able to use a choker for a short time due to his grabbing the leash. I did not want to injure his mouth so we worked him with a nose wrap collar to break that and it worked. I will try the pincher if the choker doesnt work. Don't know how much he weighs as I can't hold him still enough to weigh ourselves. Lol! He goes to the vet for his rabies shot next Saturday and I will know then. I know he's over 60 pounds.

How exciting for all your depositors as they patiently wait for them to join their families. I remember waiting for Sunday's and puppy pictures! Time seemed to go so slowly it felt like pickup day would never get here. But it did and I know everyone will be thrilled with their new pups! And now that we've got grownup Hank we know we picked the right breeder! He's everything we could hope for! She was at the vet 2 weeks ago and weighed 42 pounds! The vet checkd other GS females she sees at the same age, and they are 28 pounds at 4 months of age. She's gonna be BIG. I'll send a few more new pics. Her ears are up and down at times. :)
She's a beauty queen and the star of Facebook. People ask me to post pics of her all the time. :)

Here are Remy picutres. She's the best girl ever! Started puppy classes...she really loves other dogs. She's bossy though :) She goes to puppy play day on Wednesday's. If they post a pic I'll send to you...she has to play with the older puppies because she is so big, she's about 35 pounds now...I'd say even more. Here is miss yellow, our Rory at 13.5 weeks. She was 24.8 lbs. Any idea how that compares to the others? It's been so long since we've had a big dog puppy!
She's a character and very smart. Sometimes pushing her limits as she tests us for consistency! just like a toddler. She loves my daughter's St Bernard puppy and we both love it when they can play because they both get tired! We continue with the shots and she has one more set to go. I'm looking forward to starting obedience classes. Great for socialization and for reminding me of what Jerry and I should be doing. She really loves people, so that's so great.

I got Sienna a tub to play in the water on the back patio! She loves it!
I’ve had her on a halter so our walks twice a day can be fun. She loves to snuggle and play in the grass (as most people, including me have gravel in the back yard).
She’s always happy to meet other people, and they her.
Two people who have experience with German Shepherds have commented on how beautiful she is “layered” which means she has really good conformation. One even said she could tell that Sienna was not bred in Arizona. :)
I took her out today with the slip collar as in her playfulness she likes to play with the leash. And ORNERY... my goodness gracious!!
I will be contacting the retired Air Force guy who served in the K-9 unit. He will help me with her training. Hope you are doing well. xoxo

Hello from Florida where it was 88 degrees yesterday. I was singing your Praises again about our boy Klaus, who passed yet another test of excellent breeding. Today was my daughter's 18th birthday and Klaus did amazingly well with over 20 very loud teenagers with loud music, doorbells ringing, doors opening and closing, screaming and other assorted sounds. There was even dancing. After a few hours of this I ran to my room to seek Refuge, only to find Klaus lying down calmly in the middle of the chaos and Noise. My other dog Heidi was hiding in the room with me. I'm telling you he has nerves of Steel! Below are some updated pictures of our beautiful boy. You should be very proud of the Fantastic dogs you produce. We thank you once again.

Just wanted to let you know that Rory (Aurora) had her vet check yesterday. She was a star! The vet really thought she was a great pup, and was extremely complimentary of your paperwork and the care that you took of her (shots, wormnigs, etc.) We're just super happy.
The yorkies are finally venturing off of the couches. Pippa is most curious. That's Pippa in the photo. Three of the 4 grandkids came over yesterday and played. It was great because they wore her out for bedtime! 5-year-old Kendall is giving a gentle hug to sleeping Rory before they had to leave. My daughter said that Rory weighs more than their St. Bernard was at 8 weeks, lol!
Pup is very willing to go outside. We've had a couple of accidents, but those were our fault. Not quick enough or forgot that too much time had passed.
This morning her ears were both standing! I know they'll go up and down over the next few weeks, but it was super cute.
I see you have sold the entire litter! Congratulations. I'm really looking forward to seeing little Rory grow.

I didn't mention, but well worth noting Q's personality, she is such a lover.
Every morning, when the wife and I wake up, she'll sleep on the floor, likes the colder area, on the bed, she says "hi guys", she is at such peace, plays/licks as long as you don't get up. Then, a different story, says good morning for an additional 5 minutes, mouthing attention, hello. Does this with our 2 stepsons as well. Now, when you come home, same thing, but give her our shoe, walks around, shoe in her mouth and whimpers, glad your here. Such a great dog and you did a fantastic job as a breeder! I highly recommend you!!!!

Hank is about 88-90 pounds now. Bob loves the size he is. Max, our other German Shepherd we had, he was a huge boy very long legged and about 112 pounds. But Hank seems more perfectly proportioned. His head, legs everything matches. I'm thinking he probably fits perfectly the "breed standard" to a T.
Not that we care, he's just our little goofball.
Bob said yesterday that he thinks Hank is the happiest dog he's ever seen. He's so good natured and just gets such joy out of everything! Such a testament to the job you do with your dogs and puppies! You give them the best start in life with your hands on and love and if carried on by us owners we end up with the best companions ever! We couldn't ask for a smarter, happier and more well rounded boy!
Saw the latest pictures of all those precious puppies! So adorable and I'm betting you're seeing their personalities coming out now. You take care of yourself and stay healthy! So much flu going around everywhere right now. Perhaps being tied to home with puppies right now is a good thing for you...less chance of being exposed for you.
